INCLUSIVE HANGER
designed for people with limited movement
One of the design fields that excites me the most in inclusive design.
Therefore, I was glad I had the opportunity to create a hanger that makes the simple act of hanging accessible to individuals with restricted movement, which is quite a common condition in many populations such as people who use wheelchairs and walkers, people with brain or nerve damage and people with limited upper-limb muscle power. When it comes to independency while choosing and changing clothes, they might struggle to reach the hanger, grasp if tor long while hanging the garment on it.
The Inclusive Hanger is ergonomically designed to solve the problem using a vertical stick that allows access to it from various heights, yet still includes the original features of the hanger – allowing a person without movement limitations to use it as intended.
