PYTHEAS

Pytheas is a compass for marine navigation, inspired by the first compasses in human history. These were made from a magnetic needle placed on a leaf floating on the surface, and helped our ancestors navigate towards food, water and shelter.
The compass is made from brass and manufactured in a metal stamping technology.
Its design is inspired by inflatable floats and life jackets, allowing the metal to float on the water as well as complimenting the marine environment where it is intended to be utilized.
