The Wrench Necklace was inspired by women in the maker world.
Nowadays there are plenty of multi-tool jewelry for men, yet this niche craft completely overlooks women, probably due to the prejudice that women don’t build and fix things.
This project was formed in order to empower women involved in handcrafts, allowing them to proudly wear a piece of that compliments their line of work, and is also useful.
The necklace is assembled from two sets of gator-grip wrenches – one is suitable for millimeter nuts and the other for inch nuts- which means the necklace can be utilized across different sizes and scales.
The necklace clasp is done by locking the two wrenches one on top of the other, giving it a modern and clean look.
